Timothy White is the Founding and Managing Partner of Kingsland Public Affairs, where he leads a full-service public affairs practice built around a single goal: winning public support for large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Tim brings more than 20 years of experience in government relations, strategic communications, and grassroots coalition building to every engagement, with particular depth in the energy, utility, and large-scale development space.
Before founding Kingsland, Tim built and led public affairs practices at several of the country's top firms. He most recently served as a Partner at Converge Public Strategies and as Vice President of Public Affairs and Chair of the Public Affairs Practice at River Crossing Strategy Group, where he spearheaded advocacy campaigns for major energy, real estate, transportation, and infrastructure projects and led the firm's crisis and litigation communications practice. Earlier in his career, Tim founded and led the public affairs division at Beckerman Public Relations and held senior public affairs and government relations roles at MWW Group, directing integrated media, advocacy, and government relations campaigns for clients across the energy, healthcare, education, and real estate sectors.
He is the founding President of the New Jersey Association for Clean and Renewable Energy (NJACRE), a non-profit, non-partisan organization he built to advance public policy supporting hydrogen technology, renewable natural gas, and energy storage systems. That work — paired with advocacy campaigns for pipelines, natural gas generation facilities, and other large-scale energy projects — gives him a rare, on-the-ground understanding of how to build durable public and political support for projects that draw public scrutiny.
A hands-on strategist, Tim specializes in grassroots coalition building, earned media and strategic communications, government relations, digital advocacy, and public meeting management. He pairs traditional lobbying and stakeholder engagement with the latest digital engagement technologies — from targeted digital advertising to text-message advocacy programs — to drive project messaging, mobilize supporters, and manage the public hearing process from start to finish. Tim's approach is direct and outcome-focused: clients don't hire him to manage a conversation — they hire him to win.
Tim's work has earned him recognition as one of New Jersey's Top 100 Lobbyists by InsiderNJ in both 2024 and 2025. He has appeared on America Live with Megyn Kelly (FOX News), NJ Now (My9 News), and NJTV News, and has guest lectured at Fairleigh Dickinson University, the NYU Stern School of Business, and New Jersey City University.
Tim holds a Master of Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science from New Jersey City University.
